In early 2018, along with collaborators who have a range of interests in some aspect of free-roaming cats, I conducted a survey of 567 feral cat care and advocacy in the United States. Titled “The State of the Mewnion 2018,” the survey asked about organization demographics, activities, policies, and practices. We are currently preparing a manuscript to submit to an open-access academic journal. (Kuan Tan, Jacquie Rand and John Morton recently published something similar about Australian feral cat advocates.)

For some highlights of our results, here is the poster we presented at the HSUS Animal Care Expo: view/download the PDF.
