For my Master’s degree project as a student in the Predatory Ecology Lab at the University of Washington, I’m using wildlife population research methods to validate a low-cost, user-friendly citizen science program to scientifically estimate the number of free-roaming cats in an area to track the effectiveness of spay/neuter programs over time. Incorporated as a 501c3 nonprofit organization, Kitizen Science is currently in development during 2019-2020, and YOU can participate in my validation studies!
